This is one of the hottest bass fishing lakes in California,  probably the best in the US. Here's why. Each day it's open only 100  anglers are allowed to fish it. (25, 4-man parties) There is a strict  Catch and Release policy on the largemouths. For these reasons there is  an extremely healthy population of fish here. No live bait is allowed and all lures must have barbless hooks.
