El Capitan holds some pretty healthy fish. Florida-strain Largemouth Bass usually run pretty good sized in fact it's rare to catch a small one here. There's lot's of Channel and Blue cats here too. The Blues average 3-5 pounds with 12 pounders not uncommon! Lots of Bluegill and Crappie get pretty big here too. There is a 15 inch minimum on the Bass
